LABOR MANAGEMENT MEETING MINUTES March 26, 2008 Central Fire Station ATTENDANCE: LABOR: MANAGEMENT: Anthony Bryant, President Vernon Hughes, Fire Chief Robert Ricks, Vice President George Farrar, Deputy Fire Chief Patrick Armon, Secretary/Treasurer Arthur Randall, Division Fire Chief Ronerick Simpson, Division Fire Chief PRAYER: Robert Ricks AGENDA: 1. Criteria for the WSO position C.T. Davis position is under the Fire Marshal's Office . I t is an appointed District Chief position . Larry Smith was the only person that took the test . If any Captain works in the position , he/she will be acting . 2. Status on RDO pay The information has been submitted to the Legal Department for review to finalize who and how much they will be paid . The question was asked , Does the RDO's who are currently working in the LDO position needs to wait until everything is finalized in order to get paid for present . The answer was Yes . 3. Posting of LDO and RDO vacancies Chief Hughes informed us that the vacancies will be posted by this time next month ( 04-26-2008 ) 4. Hiring Extra FFII that are on Probation Any discrepancies will need to be challenged by an grievance . 5. Uniform Status : The uniform are on order . Chief hughes wants to make sure that everyone is wearing their uniform properly . 6. Swap Time Amendment : The swap time amendment will be completed by this time next month 7. Passport System ( accountability ) It was agreed that this was very much needed 8. Posting C-7 Position The C-7 position was placed on hold THE END |
